As the festival of lights, Diwali conveys an important message that transcends religions: the necessity of doing good and bringing light into the world.'
The festival was celebrated with zest in Prudence Dwarka 16 B. To add on to the festive aura the students from Grade Nursery to 5 adorned the entire school premise with traditional rangolis and beautiful diyas, decorated by them and various other Diwali related craft made by them.
The students showcased the relevance of Diwali in today's day and age, through special assemblies. The students not only presented the age old tradition of celebrating Diwali as a five day festival, but also depicted how the purpose of celebrating the festival has changed with the passage of time, through nukkad nataks. The power packed performance of the students enthralled the audience. The students urged the audience to take a pledge to bring back the essence of real Diwali by being sensitive and empathetic towards the environment and people around, which in true sense symbolises the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
