Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation is the symbol of Truth, Peace, Non-violence and Simplicity. 2nd October, the birthday of Gandhi ji is celebrated with great enthusiasm in honor of his teachings and ideals all across the country and also known as the International Day of Non-Violence.
To pay tribute to Bapu, a special assembly was presented by the students of Grade Nursery to Grade 3 at Prudence Dwarka 16B, in which students showcased Gandhi ji's dream for India i.e Swacch Bharat and his principles through the street play and skits. Students also presented a beautiful dance performance and mesmerized the audience. Posters were made and displayed in school premises to promote awareness to keep their surroundings clean to make India our sapno ka Bharat¯. The assembly aimed at showcasing Mahatma Gandhi's principles that guided his life and his famous mantra, Simple living and high thinking¯.
