In keeping with our tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervour and gaiety, the students at Prudence Dwarka 16B, presented a Special Assembly on Baisakhi, the Harvest Festival marking the beginning of the solar year.
To acquaint students with their cultural heritage and to create awareness among them about the importance of Baisakhi festival, an amalgamation of entertainment and information in the form of smart board presentations along with dramatizations and dance performances was witnessed. The students from grade 5, 3 and preparatory, through their performances emphasized on the importance of paying gratitude to the farmers on this day. Amidst the vibrant dance performances on Bhangra and Gidda, students rejoiced and celebrated Baisakhi in style.
