Self Defence Workshop
Self-defence is not just a set of techniques; it’s a state of mind, and it begins with the belief that you are worth defending.
A five day training session on ‘Self Defence’ for students (girls) was conducted to commemorate the occasion of Delhi Police Day. The first session was conducted on 21st Oct, 2019. It aimed at apprising the girls about the importance of self-defence, the resource person, SI- Satish Kumari. She taught them, the strategies and tactics to safeguard them with presence of mind. The workshop developed awareness and prevention skills to reduce the likelihood of being attacked and understand threatening body language. The workshop prepared the girls psychologically for specific scenarios and cultivated the ability to remain alert yet calm at all times. The girls participated enthusiastically in all the activities and felt more confident and empowered
